Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

(2 Year AHA Certification) – Same Day Certification Card!

Recommended for: MDs, RNs, EMTs, Paramedics, Dentists, Pharmacists, and Medical Personnel.

**This class is for those who have never taken BLS before or have an expired BLS certification card.

The BLS Class covers:

  • Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
  • Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations
  • Breathing Barriers, Bag Valve Masks, and 2 Rescuer CPR

(2 Year AHA Certification)  – Same Day Certification Card!

Recommended for: MDs, RNs, EMTs, Paramedics, Dentists, and Medical Personnel with Busy Schedules

 

The BLS Online Class Covers:

  • Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
  • Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations
  • Breathing Barriers, Bag Valve Masks, and 2 Rescuer CPR
  • Cardiopulminary Emergencies and Special Resuscitation Situations

This Class Has Three Parts:

Part 1 - Complete an online American Heart Association Course. (1-2 hours)

Part 2 - Complete your scheduled hands on skills session with our authorized AHA Instructor. (30 minutes)

Part 3 - Receive your American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification the same day.

The date and time selected during registration is to complete the hands on skills testing(Part 2 and 3).

The American Heart Association will not take back or return any online course once it is issued. This is a non-refundable course.

All students will be required to wear a face-covering or mask while in class until further notice.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Initial 

(2 Year AHA Certification) – Same Day Certification Card!  

Recommended for: All healthcare professionals and medical personnel who may respond to cardiovascular emergencies.

**This class is for those who have never taken ACLS before or have an expired ACLS certification card.

The ACLS Class covers:

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Airway Management
  • ACLS Pharmacology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) review
  • Management of acute coronary syndromes and stroke
  • How to be both a leader and a team member in a resuscitation team

 

You should prepare for the course by doing the following:

1. A link for instructions on how to complete the Mandatory Precourse Self-Assessment and the optional Precourse Work is included in your sign up confirmation email. You can take the Precourse Self-Assessment as many times as needed to achieve a passing score.

2. Per AHA policy, a book is REQUIRED for this course. Current edition: ACLS Provider Manual 2020 ISBN - 978-1-61669-772-3

HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED

(2 Year AHA Certification)  – Same Day Certification Card!

Recommended for: teachers, personal trainers, daycare workers, coaches, anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements

The HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Class Covers:

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Online With Skills Check

(2 Year Certification)  – Same Day Certification Card!

Recommended for: Healthcare professionals involved in the delivery and care of newborns including: Pediatricians, Respiratory Therapists, and Nurses. Also recommended for students interested in this field.

PLEASE NOTE - The AAP has updated the NRP Course. As of July 1, 2021, we are using only the 8th edition online course. Please make sure to complete the NRP 8th Edition Advanced Provider Curriculum if you are doing a skills session after July 1, 2021. 

The NRP Class covers:

  • How to Identify and Use Neonatal Resuscitation Equipment
  • Initial Assessments of Newborns
  • Positive Pressure Ventilation
  • Neonatal CPR and Intubation
  • Medication Dosing and Administration
  • Integration of all Neonate Skills (Neonatal Megacode)

The 8th Edition course is made up of 2 Parts:

PART 1 - focuses on building a foundation of neonatal resuscitation knowledge. The learning activities in Part I include:

  • eLearning: Online Learning Assessment
  • Advanced Exam
  • Course Survey

PART 2 - The Instructor-led skills session (hands-on portion of the course) 

  • Attend an Instructor-led Event and bring completion certificate of Part 1
  • NRP e-card will be issued

To access Part 1 of the NRP course, go to https://nrplearningplatform.com/login. Purchase the NRP 8th Edition Advanced Provider Curriculum (lessons 1-14) in order to complete the skills check in office. The online portion of the course is $35 and will be paid directly to RQI once you have created an account. *Once you have completed Part 1, you have 90 days to complete Part 2.*
