Basic Life Support (BLS) Providers

Recommended for: MDs, RNs, EMTs, Paramedics, Dentists, Pharmacists, Personal Trainers, or anyone looking for general CPR & AED Training.

**This class is for those who have never taken BLS before or have an expired BLS certification card.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers - Online With Skills Check

(2 Year AHA Certification)  – Same Day Certification Card!

Recommended for: MDs, RNs, EMTs, Paramedics, Dentists, and Medical Personnel with Busy Schedules

 

The BLS Online Class Covers:

  • Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
  • Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations
  • Breathing Barriers, Bag Valve Masks, and 2 Rescuer CPR
  • Cardiopulminary Emergencies and Special Resuscitation Situations

This Class Has Three Parts:

Part 1 - Complete an online American Heart Association Course. (1-2 hours)

Part 2 - Complete your scheduled hands on skills session with our authorized AHA Instructor. 

Part 3 - Receive your American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification the same day.

The date and time selected during registration is to complete the hands on skills testing(Part 2 and 3).

The American Heart Association will not take back or return any online course once it is issued. This is a non-refundable course.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Initial 

(2 Year AHA Certification) – Same Day Certification Card!  

Recommended for: All healthcare professionals and medical personnel who may respond to cardiovascular emergencies.

**This class is for those who have never taken ACLS before or have an expired ACLS certification card.

The ACLS Class covers:

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Airway Management
  • ACLS Pharmacology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) review
  • Management of acute coronary syndromes and stroke
  • How to be both a leader and a team member in a resuscitation team

 

You should prepare for the course by doing the following:

1. A link for instructions on how to complete the Mandatory Precourse Self-Assessment and the optional Precourse Work is included in your sign up confirmation email. You can take the Precourse Self-Assessment as many times as needed to achieve a passing score.

2. Per AHA policy, a book is REQUIRED for this course. Current edition: ACLS Provider Manual 2020 ISBN - 978-1-61669-772-3 

Do You Need BLS As Well? You can also obtain your BLS for Healthcare Providers certification during this course by adding the AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Online Course from the menu below. Complete Part 1 online, print the completion certificate and bring it on the day of the ACLS course. Complete Parts 2 & 3 "skills check" to get your official American Heart Association certification card same day. Skills check will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of your ACLS course. Adding on same-day BLS is non refundable.

(2 Year AHA Certification)  – Same Day Certification Card!

Recommended for: anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

  • Duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers
